The standard centerline spacing between each cradle is 8 ¼"; this spacing is crucial to prevent the reels from colliding into each other. It also prevents the reel from catching the neighboring reel when removing the rod. This cradle style was designed primarily for holding dipsy rods. The cut away design allows for easy rod removal by pulling the rod toward you and lifting it out.
The positive locking head of the Cisco Fishing Systems rod holder will adjust to any angle from zero up to 90 degrees by actuating the padded lever. The rod holder indexes in a radial movement every 18 degrees by lifting and turning the spring-loaded mechanism. These features offer the fisherman a multitude of possibilities for positioning their rods.
