John Gribble- DB Sportfishing Charters

Captain John Gribble of DB Sport Fishing Charters has been fishing the Western and Central Basins of Lake Erie for the past 20 years, starting out as a first mate and working his way up to a full time charter captain.  He took over the family business in 2001 with one boat and a handful of clients and since then has expanded to a four boat charter fleet that runs over 300 trips a season.  Captain John promotes Lake Erie by doing live radio interviews, seminars at local sport shows, and by taking sports writers on his boat.  Captain John also fishes in tournaments across Lake Erie.  He is sponsored by Cisco Fishing Systems, Contender Trolling Spoons, The Doc Shop, Happy Hooker Bait and Tackle, Raymarine, Tiny's Cyclops Hair Jigs, and Dave's Kaboom Baits.  Captain John enjoys teaching clients and young kids the tricks of the trade of Lake Erie fishing.             http://www.dbsportfishing.com/
