Lund Mounts
We have developed two different mounting options for users with Lund boats. There are two main styles of track mounted to the gunnel of these boats, 42° and 90° angled track. The mounts listed below have a unique locking mechanism which allows the unit to slide along the track and easily secure it in position by tightening the two knobs located at the front of the unit. We also provide two synthetic levelers at the end of the unit to give the mount added support.
Both styles are capable of mounting any single rod holder style, as well as double, triple, or quad cross-plates. You can view these mounts by clicking on the link at the bottom of the page.
These mounts are designed for use with aluminum Lund boats only.
Quick Release Rail Mounts (Ranger)
These rail mounts were designed with a few specific parameters in mind. The first benefit the user will receive from this product is the low profile design of the rail mount when the rod holders have been removed. This unit will work for any 7/8” rail (1” rail mounts available upon request) but has been adopted by nearly every owner of a Ranger style boat looking for a secure and quality rod holder system. For example, Ranger boats use a very sleek fitted cover to protect the boat leaving little room for storage.
This design allows you to always keep the rail mount on your boat while removing the rod holders/cross-plate with a simple lift of the solid brass plunger. We have also machined a solid stop on the inside of the channel keys which are attached to the cross plate to ensure that the unit can only slide inboard, never outboard. Additional rail mounts are available for purchase to allow for multiple placements on your rails without the purchase of additional rod holders; please call for details.
