All of our reels come from a solid piece of round aluminum and are precision machined and anodized to military specs!  With a common 7/16" bore this reel is a direct replacement for Big Jon plastic reels!  Additionally, we provide solid bronze clutch pads CNC machined to provide long lasting sustainability and years of wear while handling excessive amounts of pressure and heat.

Our 8" High Capacity Reel was designed to hold more line than any other reel available by major manufacturers today.    When using Spectra line the reel is capable of holding 500 feet of 500 lb line and 400 feet of 800 lb line.   This reel proves extremely useful for fishermen running .80 diameter "weed wacker" line and holds approximately 400 feet.

Lastly, we machine our handles from a solid round of aluminum to ensure a lifetime of use.  All inner working components are machined from aluminum and stainless steel for a smooth and fluent revolution every time.

What Makes Our Reels The Best?

 Our reels are so popular because many fishermen prefer to use “weed wacker” line when running planer boards.   When the lines are being retrieved with plastic reels it cannot handle the stress when the line expands and will crack into pieces.
