The entire 6" reel is machined from a solid round of aluminum and has a 7/16” bore making this unit Big Jon compatible.  Four clutch pads machined from a solid bar of 660 bronze are provided which are capable of handling extreme amounts of pressure and heat.

The reel can spool approximately 300 feet of 500 lb. line and 225 feet of 800 lb. line.  (Measurements taken using Spectra brand)

Revolving handles may also be attached to this unit, but if you are looking for a plastic handle…you won’t find it here.  We machine our handles from a solid round of aluminum to ensure a lifetime of use.  All inner working components are machined from aluminum and stainless steel for a smooth and fluent revolution every time. 

We recommend that every person who owns an electric reel should have a handle in case of electrical failure or wiring malfunction on the boat. Revolving handle sold separately.
